Loot Guides · Boss Breakdowns · Honest Reviews

Guarding the loot, one guide at a time.

Frozen Loot Guardians is a Shoreditch gaming blog run by four obsessives who chart every drop table, clip every boss window, and never pad a review. Pull up a stool at the counter.

A gaming diner where the specials are strategy.

We started as a Discord thread arguing about ARPG drop rates and turned it into a full editorial kitchen. Every guide is cooked to order: hundreds of logged runs, spreadsheet-backed drop tables, and screen-recorded proof before a single word ships.

No sponsored scores, no review copies that buy a number. Just four Londoners, an espresso machine, and a wall of CRTs in EC2A pushing honest coverage from indie roguelites to 200-hour RPGs.

How every guide gets cooked

  1. 01

    Play it raw

We start blind, no wikis. First impressions are logged live so the guide remembers what confused a real first-timer.

  2. 02

    Grind the data

Hundreds of runs feed our spreadsheets. Drop rates, damage windows, and stagger timings get measured, not guessed.

  3. 03

    Clip the proof

Every claim ships with a screen recording. If we say the parry window is 12 frames, there's a clip counting them.

  4. 04

    Serve & update

Guides are living. When a patch drops we re-run the tests and stamp the page with the version we verified against.

Unbought Reviews

We buy our own copies and finish the game before scoring. Read the caveats, the crash logs, and the honest "wait for a sale" verdicts.

Readers who beat the boss

★★★★★
Their Molten Warden guide cut my no-hit attempt from three nights to forty minutes. The frame timings were exactly right — first site I trust with boss patterns.
Priya S. — Hackney, London
★★★★★
I nearly pre-ordered a broken launch RPG. Their review flagged the save-corruption bug two weeks early and saved me £60. Honest to a fault.
Marcus D. — Leeds
★★★★★
The drop-table spreadsheet for the winter event was gospel in our guild. Everyone stopped farming the wrong zone once we shared their route.
Aoife M. — Manchester
★★★★★
I pitched a tiny indie roguelite and they actually covered it properly. Fair, detailed, and they replied within a day. Rare crew.
